Will I be upgrading to Snow Leopard you ask?

No.

Boy I sure like writing posts this short.

Oh, you want to know why?

I lost the update fever a while ago.  I don't see anything that excites me enough to take any mental energy to do the update.

I get most of the use out of my computer now through my browser.  The rest of the machine is more and more just something I have to use to sync my iPhone and photos.

I would like to check out the latest garage band, but that's not really snow leopard related.

Will I eventually update? Yes. Just not in any hurry.

What would make me do it?

How about some real innovation? Please?  I want a newer and cooler experience as a consumer.  I am bored with my laptop.

Seems that most upgrades these days just have features that you thought should have been there already.

So, if you want to go for it; don't call me for support.  I got other stuff to do and my computer works great as is.

What about Mail and ICal working with Exchange?

Isn't that worth it?

I'd have to downgrade to Exchange to take advantage of that feature. That was my point about having features that you thought should have already been in there.

If you need it, do it. I'm still waiting.

Sounds like you don't use Mail or iCal?

Great post and good point about browser based services avoiding anything to
do with the software/OS running on your laptop.  Nice!

The Exchange thing is the same issue that small businesses have today with
Outlook, should I pay for Exchange or not.  Apple is begin smart by enabling
Exchange functionality inside Snow Leopard as it drives them into the
Enterprise.  But, for SyncAcross, it's still a big world of customers.

Am I missing something?

I totally agree, I saw Snow Leopard was coming out, and I just didn't see the real value to upgrading at this time. In the future I may, but like you at this time I just dont' see the real need.

Advantageously, the article is really the freshest on this notable topic. I concur with your conclusions and will thirstily look forward to your approaching updates. Saying thanks will not just be adequate, for the phenomenal lucidity in your writing. I will directly grab your rss feed to stay abreast of any updates. Solid work and much success in your business endeavors!

I love this blog. Just found it today and really love the layout, is this movable type or wordpress?
