Boxley’s – Opening Up

After three crazy weeks of remodeling we threw a party and opened a jazz club. We didn’t do too much with the place. Mostly paint and added some extra tables. We got rid of some booths and a half wall in front of what was going to be our future stage. But that’s pretty much it. We bought a sound system, moved in the piano and started playing Jazz.

As far as staffing, we kept the kitchen staff from the previous restaurant and the bartender as well. I hired my sister in-law to help figure everything out and just get the place opened.
